My Story

With over 30 years of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of leading both public and private elementary schools as a principal, shaping vibrant learning communities where students and educators can thrive. My journey has also included working with the Ontario Ministry of Education, teaching leadership courses, and co-authoring Pushing the Limits: How Schools Can Prepare Our Children Today for the Challenges of Tomorrow (2017), a Donner Prize finalist.

I’m especially passionate about Special Education—particularly in using strategies designed for gifted learners to support all students. This work is deeply informed by my MA in Human Development and Applied Psychology from OISE/University of Toronto and a lifelong commitment to inclusive, forward-thinking education.

As a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), I work with individuals and groups through a strengths-based approach, drawing on training in Change Management (Harvard University), group facilitation (Institute of Cultural Affairs), and Restorative Practices (International Institute of Restorative Practices).

My mission is simple: to create space for deep thinking, authentic connection, and meaningful growth. Whether I’m working with school leaders, educators, or professionals navigating change, my goal is to support personal clarity, professional development, and the creation of cultures where people—and possibilities—can flourish.
